The openwork design in the round, silver-metal bookmark is a mortar board, an unmistakable symbol of graduation. Attached to the mortar-board bookmark, which measures 2 ¼” in diameter, is a jet-black, 3 ½” tassel reminiscent of the tassels on mortar boards.
In the clever presentation, a piece of parchment-like paper with the word “Graduate” in Old English lettering lies beneath the bookmark and tassel in the 4 ¼” x 3 ½” x ¾” black box with a clear display window. A sheer, black organza ribbon wraps around the gift box and comes together in a bow in one corner along with a diploma-shaped “For You” tag.
